Job role: HGV Technician
Location: Skelmersdale
Salary: £37,648
Shift: Days M-F
Overtime: Available and paid at an enhanced rate
HGV Technician opportunity
My client, a well-established commercial vehicle fleet maintenance company is actively seeking to employ a skilled HGV Technician to their team in the Skelmersdale depot. You will be working on a mixed fleet of commercial vehicles.
You will be working 40 hours per week M-F covering the following shifts 6am-3pm,7am-4pm and 8am-5pm
HGV Technician duties will include
• General servicing, repairs and maintenance
• Vehicle inspections
• Running defects
• MOT preparation / presentation
• Fault finding
• Diagnostics
The successful HGV Technician should have
• Industry recognised qualifications, either city & guilds or NVQ Level Three in HGV
• Experience gained in a similar HGV Technician role
