Role: Packer
Location: Corby, NN17
Hours Of Work: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am, rotating.
Basic Salary: £11.54-£13.27 per hour
Additional Benefits: Excellent rates of pay, company pension, Free parking
We are working alongside a global plastic packaging company, who are recruiting for a permanent Packer to join the team.
Job Responsibilities:
* Removing the products from the machine and packing them according to the production order
* Moving finished pallets to the end of the production area, then the warehouse operatives move to the storage facility.
* Sorting of rejects, putting them into the scrap cage
* Checking parts once manufactured for quality
* Labelling boxes
* Removing the metal handles of the buckets
* General order and cleanliness in the work area
* Cleaning of conveyor belts and machine guards
Key Skills Required:
* Previous packing experience is a must
* Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate packing
* Proficient in quality control procedures
* Experience with materials handling techniques
* Knowledge of general warehouse operations and procedures
