Job title:    Support Worker

Pay:           £13.00 per hour (minimum)

Hours:       30 hours per week

 

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the role of a Support Worker in the Selby area of North Yorkshire.

 

We are looking for a flexible, committed, reliable individual to work with our client who has an acquired brain injury and complex needs. We are looking for a Support Worker who wants to make a real difference in our client's daily life. This is an ongoing role and the shifts are every Saturday and Sunday (12 hours), with a shorter shift available on a Friday evening.

Client and Role:

- The client lives with acquired brain injury and has complex needs.

- This is an ongoing package – 1 – 1 support.

- The role involves taking the client to appointments and recreational activities.

Successful Applicant:

- Must be able to drive - a company vehicle will be provided during work hours.

- Previous experience of 6 months in care is essential – training will be provided.

- Able to work unsociable hours (evenings, nights, and weekends).

- Experience working with clients living with brain injuries is desirable.

- Personal care is involved.
