Job Title: Accounts Payable Officer Location: Spilsby, Lincolnshire (potential for hybrid working) Salary: £23,000 per year Benefits Position Overview: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Officer to join a well-established and respected charitable organisation based in Spilsby, Lincolnshire. This is a crucial role within the finance team, responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of supplier invoices and maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities: Process and manage supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments. Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to maintain the integrity of financial data. Assist with month-end closing procedures and maintain accurate financial records. Work collaboratively with the finance team to support overall organisational financial health. Contribute to process improvements within the finance function to streamline operations. Support the team in meeting financial deadlines and KPIs. Skills & Qualifications: At least one year of experience in accounts payable or relevant finance functions (graduates with relevant skills are also encouraged to apply). Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel) is essential. Experience with Sage Intact or other cloud-based accounting systems is desirable (training will be provided). Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in financial processes. Proactive, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
