We are looking for an Acoustic Consultant to join a well-established acoustic consultancy in their London office. The consultancy is rapidly expanding its market share in the acoustics sector and is looking for an experienced acoustic consultant to join their existing team. The successful candidate will work on a diverse range of projects, including residential and commercial developments, as well as hospitality, sports, and listed buildings.

The primary responsibilities of the acoustic consultant role involve managing inquiries and proposals while serving as the project manager for various projects. This position requires cultivating relationships within the acoustics sector to promote business growth and leading a team to ensure the timely delivery of all project deliverables. Additionally, the consultant oversees the operations of the support team, which includes recruitment and performance evaluations, while providing technical leadership to achieve successful project outcomes.

The chosen candidate will have a proven track record in business development and expertise in Environmental Acoustics. Experience in undertaking tests and modelling for a range of different projects, undertaking initial site appraisals and report writing, is essential. A degree in Acoustics or a related field and membership in MIOA/FIOA are required, along with significant experience in acoustic consultancy at a principal level.
