Location : Oban (Hybrid, with travel to the Islands) Band : £35.00 - £40.00 per hour Job Title : Adult Social Worker Working Pattern : 35 hours per week (Hybrid options available) Contract Duration : ASAP - 12 weeks (with option to extend)

What You'll Be Doing

Providing social work services within the Community Care Operations Team for Oban, Lorn & the Isles.

Assessing the needs of adults with a focus on community-based care.

Offering person-centered, strengths-based support.

Ensuring service users' needs are met while coordinating resources and referrals.

Occasionally traveling to the Islands covered by the team (accommodation and transport arranged).

Driving is required, so a full UK driving license and access to a car is essential.

Requirements & Qualifications

Must be a qualified and registered Social Worker (with HCPC).

Experience in community care and adult services.

Ability to drive and travel across the region, including to Islands within the team's area.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

Ability to start ASAP and commit to a 12-week contract, with the option for extension.

Working Hours & Contract Duration

35 hours per week, with hybrid working options available.

Immediate start ASAP for 12 weeks, with the possibility to extend.
