Architectural Technician / Technologist

Location: Newcastle
Salary: £27-35,000 DOE
An established architectural practice in Newcastle is looking for an experienced Architectural Technician or Technologist to join their collaborative team. This is a 100% office-based role, offering the chance to work on a range of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects across the UK. AutoCAD proficiency is essential, with Revit experience considered a bonus.

Daily Duties:
* Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD
* Support architectural teams across RIBA Stages 3-5
* Assist with preparing planning and building regulation packages
* Coordinate with consultants, clients, and contractors to support project delivery
* Ensure all documentation complies with UK building regulations and best practices
* Contribute to technical problem-solving and design detailing
Ideal Candidate:
* Several years of relevant industry experience in the UK- Residential experience essential
* Highly proficient in AutoCAD (essential)
* Experience with Revit (beneficial but not required)
* Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations
* Confident communicator and team player
* Organised, proactive, and detail-focused
