Aspiring Paediatric Nurse

This role is ideal if you have career aspirations in the field of a child nurse and, want to expand your experience and, knowledge within complex, medical and, mental health needs.

We are looking for a dedicated Aspiring Paediatric Nurse to support children with moderate learning difficulties and, additional mental health needs. This school is based in Hastings for children aged 6-16 and has speciailised in SEMH to provide exceptional education and, provide extra help for traumatised children and, young people.

You will be helping children who have come from trauma/neglected backgrounds, challenging behaviour, ADHD or Autism and, also have developed mental health issues due to their needs and, require additional support with improving social, emotional and mental well-being.

Responsibilities of an Aspiring Paediatric Nurse:

* Provide 1:1 support to a child with complex needs and help, students understand instructions.

* Assist in implementing individual learning and, support plans.

* Support children during social activities and outings.

* Encourage communication and, also look after their physical needs.

* Work alongside the teacher and SEN team to create a positive learning environment.

* Prepare and provide learning materials.
