Assistant Ecologist
Location: Sussex
Salary: From £25,000

The Role:
* Conduct regional site work, with travel and occasional overnight stays.
* Evening and weekend work required (expenses covered).
* Six-month fixed-term contract with the potential for a permanent role.

Assistant Ecologist Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A full UK driving licence.
* A degree in ecology or a related field.
* Fieldwork experience, such as reptile, great crested newt, or bat surveys.
Desirable Skills:
While not essential, the following are highly valued:
* Holding species licences or working towards them.
* Experience in ecological report writing.
* Membership or progress toward membership with the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).
