THE ROLE

An opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work for a large firm of PQS / construction consultants based in Cambridgeshire

You will initially work on interesting projects for aviation / airports.

They are seeking people who are ideally approaching APC or with a couple of years experience of working for another firm of PQS or consultants or people who have recently taken the APC.

Support to complete your APC to become chartered with the RICS will be given.

They are working on all aspects of the PQS role doing both pre and post contract work.

THE COMPANY

My client is a large firm of construction consultants providing Quantity Surveying / Cost Management, Employers Agent etc. for projects both in the UK and abroad.

They currently have offices across the UK and abroad.

They work on both new build and refurbishment projects across a range of sectors to include commercial offices, residential, arenas, sports stadia, data centres, airports, life sciences and more.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a BSc or MSc qualified Quantity Surveyor who is currently working for another firm of PQS or consultants.

You will need to have good pre and post contract experience.

You should be able to work as part of a team and you should be keen to complete your APC to become chartered with the RICS or you may have recently taken the APC.

Experience across a range of building projects is preferred.

You should have good analytical skills.

You should have a stable work record.

You must have excellent English both written and spoken and good client facing skills.

Salary is negotiable according to experience plus benefits which includes RICS fees, RICS support, pension, discretionary bonus and other benefits.
