Job Title: Assistant Planner / Town Planner
Location: Chelmsford
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Planner or Town Planner to join a dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will work on a variety of exciting planning projects, supporting landowners, developers, promoters, and the public sector in delivering planning applications and contributing to Local Plan Promotions.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications
* Contribute to Local Plan Promotions and strategic planning projects
* Support clients, including landowners, developers, and public sector organisations, with planning advice
* Conduct research and analysis of planning policies and regulations
* Assist in the preparation of reports, planning statements, and other relevant documents
* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Skills & Qualifications:
* Working towards MRTPI membership or already MRTPI registered
* Relevant experience in planning and policy development, ideally in a similar role
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage tasks effectively and work to deadlines
* A proactive attitude and a keen interest in the planning industry
