THE ROLE

An opportunity for an ambitious Associate Quantity Surveyor to work for a large firm of PQS / construction consultants based in London.

You will initially work on high value projects for new build large commercial offices, also fit out and new build for other projects for manufacturing, life sciences and more.

They are seeking people who are MRICS qualified who have been working for another firm of PQS.

THE COMPANY

My client is a large firm of construction consultants providing Quantity Surveying / Cost Management, Employers Agent etc. for projects both in the UK and abroad.

They currently have offices across the UK and abroad.

They work on both new build and refurbishment projects across a range of sectors to include commercial offices, residential, arenas, sports stadia, data centres, airports, life sciences and more.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a BSc or MSc qualified Quantity Surveyor who is also MRICS qualified.

You will be at Associate or Associate Director level or approaching Associate with experience of leading large projects.

You need to have experience of new build high value projects from £50 - £150m.

You will need to have good pre and post contract experience.

You should be able to supervise more junior quantity surveyors, helping to support them through APC.

Experience across a range of building projects is preferred.

Good experience in the use of JCT D&B forms of contract is essential.

You should have good analytical skills.

You should have a stable work record.

You must have excellent English both written and spoken and good client facing skills.

Salary is in the region of £80000 to £90000 according to experience plus benefits which includes RICS fees, health insurance, pension, discretionary bonus and other benefits.
