Job Details:
Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant (Band 3)
Location: South West London - NHS Hospital
Duration: 3 months
Schedule: 34.5 hours per week (4 or 5 days)
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £15 - £16.50 per hour (Direct Engagement, PAYE)
What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Pharmacy Assistant and play a key role in supporting essential hospital pharmacy services. In this role, you will:
Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications
Support pharmacy stock management and ordering
Ensure compliance with hospital procedures and NHS guidelines
Work collaboratively with pharmacists and technicians to provide excellent patient care
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
An NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or Dispensing
Previous hospital pharmacy experience (preferred but not essential)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This flexible locum role requires availability 4 or 5 days per week , with 34.5 hours per week . The contract is for 3 months , with the potential for extension based on performance and service needs.
