We are currently seeking a skilled BIM Manager for a reputable company in the building services sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual with a strong background in Revit MEP and ISO 19650 standards to join an expanding team.
The ideal BIM Manager will:
* Must be a British citizen or hold valid working rights in the UK
* A technical qualification, ideally a university degree or diploma
* Essential experience includes:
* At least 5 years of experience with Revit MEP
* Expertise in COBie data implementation for MEP systems
* Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650
* Proven ability in implementing ISO 19650 standards
* Experience in obtaining BIM certification to ISO 19650 standards
Job responsibilities will include:
* Managing team resources to ensure project deadlines are met
* Implementing and maintaining ISO 19650 standards at BIM Stage 2 across all projects
* Identifying development needs for the Revit team and coordinating relevant training
* Developing and managing specific Revit templates and libraries
* Organizing internal BIM-related training sessions
* Overseeing BIM software licenses and negotiating competitive renewal rates with suppliers
* Researching new BIM-related software and procedures
* Keeping senior leadership informed of industry trends, best practices, and software advancements
* Reviewing Employer's Information Requirements and BIM Execution Plans, ensuring compliance
* Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients
