Business Intelligence Support Officer
Location : Rotherham (With hybrid working)
Salary: £27,121 per annum
The Role
This technical specialist role of Business Intelligence Support Officer, offers you the chance to gain significant experience and responsibility in the Management Information Services department within a busy customer focused data and funding team.
There is a fantastic opportunity to support and develop further the Business Intelligence systems and work with the Business Intelligence Senior Support Officer, Curriculum Managers and subsidiary organisations to support them in achieving outstanding results for learners.
The role of Business Intelligence Support Officer is to develop, plan and maintain business intelligence systems in support of improved quality, flexibility and efficiencies across the Group to meet the needs of the organisation. You will be responsible for the Helpdesk to ensure that assigned 'jobs' are swiftly and satisfactorily resolved and will also involve troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults in relation to their data management systems.
They recognise that this role requires someone that has strengths in IT with a customer focus and you will have the track record to show that you have these skills and meet their key objectives.
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a similar role and may have worked within Further Education too.
You will hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths and ideally hold a Level 3 IT (or above) IT related qualification.
You should have experience of using Crystal Reports, SSRS or MS Access reporting tools, and be proficient in using and supporting Pro Suite software or other similar systems.

The Business Intelligence Support Officer will be a key part of the Business Intelligence Team, supporting systems to ensure their performance are at an optimum level at all times. You will report to the Business Intelligence Senior Support Officer and work closely with colleagues across the organisation.
