JOB DESCRIPTION
Are you a Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner looking for a rewarding locum role? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!
What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as a CAMHS Practitioner and play a crucial role in supporting children and young people with mental health challenges. Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing a caseload of patients , monitoring their mental health, risk factors, and medication.
Conducting mental health assessments and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support emotional well-being.
Liaising with families, schools, and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure holistic care.
Offering crisis intervention and risk management strategies when required.
Maintaining accurate patient records in line with NHS guidelines.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A valid NMC registration (mental health).
Previous experience working in CAMHS or a mental health setting with children and young people.
Strong assessment, communication, and clinical decision-making skills .
The ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team .
A passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care .
