THE ROLE
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Chartered Quantity Surveyor at Project Surveyor level to join a prestigious firm of PQS / construction consultants based in London offering a good range of projects and good prospects for promotion.
They are seeking people from just MRICS qualified through Project Surveyor and Senior Project Surveyor levels.
The initial project is to work on a £30m programme of fit out works for a large venue based in West London.
You will be involved in all aspects of the PQS role doing both pre and post contract work.
THE COMPANY
My client is a large well known firm of PQS providing clients with both cost and project management.
They have many offices across the UK and some overseas.
They work on almost every type of construction project for new build, refurbishment and fit out for both buildings and infrastructure projects.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS qualified) with 2 years plus experience working for another firm of PQS and you will be at Project Surveyor level.
You will need to have good pre and post contract experience.
You should be able to work with limited supervision.
Experience across a range of building projects is preferred.
You should have a stable work record.
You must have excellent English both written and spoken and good client facing skills.
Salary is in the region of £65000 to £70000 plus RICS fees, pension contribution, discretionary bonus and a range of other benefits.
