Role & Responsibilities
As a Chartered Structural Engineer, you will:
* Lead and manage structural engineering projects involving masonry, groundworks, and temporary works.
* Produce detailed structural designs and calculations adhering to relevant codes and standards.
* Conduct site visits to inspect works and provide technical support during construction.
* Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other professionals to deliver projects efficiently.
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of the team's technical capabilities.
About You
To succeed in this Chartered Structural Engineering role, you should have:
* A Chartered Engineer status (MIStructE or MICE).
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in structural engineering, preferably within a consulting environment.
* Proficiency in structural design and analysis software.
* A strong background in masonry structures, groundworks, and temporary works.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive approach to project management and a keen eye for detail.
