Cleaning Operative
Location : Staffordshire, this role requires travel to client sites
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum
Hours : Semi flexible hours (dependant on clients) but mainly evening work .
Our client is a company based in Lichfield with national clients. Works include the use of mechanical and chemical cleaning methods within kitchen and food retail areas. Work is conducted following clients' specifications.
The Role
As a cleaning operative you will be required to carry out the following tasks:
* Deep clean of retail shop/cafes to include the following:
* Adhering to supervisors' instructions on tasks to be completed.
* Preparing the work location for cleaning activities to be carried out.
* Selecting the correct materials, tools, and equipment for the work to be carried out.
* Safely carrying out the cleaning activity using the correct cleaning methods and techniques.
* Leaving the work area clean and tidy.
* Understanding and carrying out risk assessments on sites prior to works commence.
* Understand and adhere to all health and safety regulations
Key Responsibilities
* Ensuring you adhere to PPE requirements.
* Responsible for checking site at end of visit to ensure everywhere is clean and tidy and no equipment has been left.
* Ensuring all waste is removed from site.
Skills and Qualifications
* Full Clean UK Driving License - they hold national contracts and jobs are based throughout the UK.
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
* Polite with a "can do" attitude is essential.
* Flexibility - works are carried out "out of hours" and therefore shifts generally start late afternoon/early evening.
* A high level of enthusiasm and a good work ethic.
