CNC Miller
Here at Impact Recruitment, we are hiring for one of our clients based in Rugby. They are a well-established precision engineering firm that has been operating for several decades, supplying high-quality, bespoke components across various industries, including Oil and Gas.
Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Miller to operate a 4-axis Starrag Mill using Heidenhain controls to manufacture precision-engineered parts and components.
Salary: £19.11 per hour (£39,744 per annum)
Hours: 2pm - 12am (Monday - Thursday)
Location: Rugby, Warwickshire
Job Duties:
* Operate and set a 4-axis Starrag Mill to produce bespoke precision components.
* Work on small batch sizes (typically 1-5 pieces), ensuring high accuracy and quality.
* Use Heidenhain controls, making necessary edits and adjustments when required.
* Ensure all components meet strict quality standards and customer specifications.
* Conduct in-process quality checks to maintain consistency and accuracy.
* Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organised workspace.
Requirements:
* Minimum 10 years' experience working with CNC milling machines.
* Essential: Strong experience with Heidenhain controls.
* Ability to set and operate CNC machines independently.
* Programming experience is not required, but the ability to edit and adjust programs is beneficial.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
