CNC Setter Operator
We are seeking a Machine Shop CNC Setter Operator to join a leading manufacturing business with impressive growth plans. If you're looking for an opportunity to contribute to this success, read on!
Job Description:
As a CNC Setter Operator, you will set and operate CNC multi-tasking lathes to manufacture components from raw materials for internal assembly flow lines. You will ensure products are of the highest quality and produced on time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set and operate CNC lathes for small to medium-sized batches.
* Inspect products using engineered drawings and measuring equipment, identifying and reporting any quality defects.
* Perform timely and regular checks on machines to maintain optimal working order and meet 5S standards.
* Optimize efficiencies, cycle times, and tool life monitoring.
* Final inspection duties, including deburring, cleaning, and performing any remedial tasks.
* Complete necessary paperwork for compliance and traceability.
Shift Pattern:
* Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm
* Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 2pm-10:30pm, and Friday, 2pm-7:30pm
