Job Title: Community Psychiatric Nurse (Band 6)
What You'll Be Doing:
Join our Community Mental Health Team as a Band 6 CPN , supporting individuals with complex mental health needs. Your key responsibilities will include:
✔ Managing a caseload of service users in the community. ✔ Conducting assessments, care planning, and delivering recovery-focused interventions. ✔ Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and carers. ✔ Providing psychoeducation and relapse prevention strategies. ✔ Administering medication and monitoring mental health stability. ✔ Safeguarding and risk management to ensure patient safety. ✔ Supporting transitions between services and signposting to relevant support networks.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
✔ A current and valid NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN). ✔ Experience working within a Community Mental Health setting. ✔ Strong risk assessment and crisis intervention skills. ✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ✔ The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. ✔ A valid full UK driver's license (preferred but not essential).
