Job Overview:

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our secondary school in East Grinstead as a Cover Supervisor. This role is ideal for someone seeking hands-on experience in a supportive school environment, offering excellent career progression opportunities. You will manage classrooms using pre-prepared lesson plans, supervise students, and provide one-to-one support when required.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver pre-set lesson plans provided by the subject teacher or department.

* Supervise students, ensuring they stay on task and follow the school's behavior policy.

* Create a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes student participation.

* Provide basic guidance and clarification on classwork when needed.

* Ensure all materials and resources are available and organized for the lesson.

* Manage classroom behavior and address any immediate issues or questions from students.

Work with individual students or small groups to support their learning needs.

* Encourage students to complete their work to the best of their ability and track their progress.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Essential:
