Role Overview:

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in supporting students during teacher absences. You'll be responsible for supervising classes, ensuring students stay focused on pre-set work, and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise students in the classroom when teachers are absent, ensuring continuity and engagement with pre-prepared lessons.

* Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a safe and productive environment.

* Support and motivate students to complete assigned work and stay on task.

Essential Requirements:

* Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent), especially in English and Maths.

* Strong classroom management and communication skills.

* A proactive, adaptable, and dependable approach to working in a school environment.

Desirable Experience:

* Previous experience working in a school or with young people.

* An understanding of safeguarding practices and educational settings.

* A passion for education and supporting student development.
