We are searching for a Cover Supervisor to work on a day to day basis for children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN). As a Cover Supervisor you must be compassionate and, committed to teaching those with Autism, ADHD, speech, language and communication difficulties and / or social, emotional and mental health difficulties and, other complex needs.

Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:

* Supervise and manage classes during teacher absences, ensuring students stay engaged and focused on the task that has been set.

* Managing behaviour to create a productive learning enviroment.

* Provide and offer guidance to students that need extra support with the task.

* Adaptable to different classes and subjects.

* Ensure safety and well-being of students and, report any concerns to leadership.

Requirements of a Cover Supervisor:

* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to follow school policies.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff and students.

* Good organisational skills and the ability to follow lesson plans effectively.

* A proactive and, flexible approach to daily tasks.

* Good standard of education GSCE C or above in English/Maths, ideally educated at a degree level.

* Experience within SEN.
