We are seeking a skilled Critical Electrical Shift Engineer to join a Brand New cutting-edge data centre in Hayes. As an essential part of our on-site team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of high-voltage electrical systems in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate, monitor, and maintain all HV and LV systems, ensuring compliance with safety and operational protocols.

- Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, including switchgear, UPS, generators, and BMS.

- Conduct HV switching operations as per Safe Systems of Work.

- Respond promptly to technical issues, diagnosing faults, and implementing repairs.

- Liaise with external contractors, ensuring high standards of safety and performance.

- Maintain up-to-date records and logs of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in an electrical engineering role, ideally within a data centre or critical environment.

- Solid knowledge of HV and LV electrical systems, safety procedures, and fault diagnosis.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective team collaboration and reporting.

- Ability to work on a shift pattern, with flexibility for occasional emergency call-outs.
