Delivery Manager (Integration & Software Development)

Our client, a leading organisation in the higher education sector, seeks a Delivery Manager to play a pivotal role in enhancing their IT Services division. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with expertise in integration and software development to work alongside high-performing teams, managing end-to-end delivery of integration solutions and improvements to legacy systems. About the Role As Delivery Manager, you will oversee the seamless integration of systems across project teams and drive continuous improvement within the organisation's IT services. Your focus will be on stakeholder management, prioritising multiple workstreams, and ensuring robust communication and collaboration across departments. Working closely with project managers and technical teams, you'll ensure effective delivery of solutions and maintain a clear line of sight on progress to meet organisational objectives.

About You. You will be a proactive individual who thrives on getting "stuck in" and "getting things done".

* 5+ years in a Delivery Manager or Project Manager role within IT services.

* Proven experience managing a wide range of stakeholders with strong communication skills to articulate technical details to non-technical audiences.

* Knowledge of service management frameworks (ITIL) and integration platforms (preferably Boomi).

* Proficiency in service desk tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project).

* A strong commitment to customer experience and continuous improvement.

Title: Delivery Manager (Integration & Software Development).

Salary: £53,000 £67,000.

Contract: Fixed Term - 12 months, Full-time (35 hours per week).

Location: Hybrid (2 days per week in London, with remote work flexibility).

Start Date: ASAP.

Key Responsibilities

* Delivery of seamless integration of systems across the client.

* Stakeholder Engagement and Management.

* Act as the primary contact for stakeholders across academic departments, technical teams, and external partners.

* Build strong, transparent relationships, gathering requirements, setting expectations, and providing regular updates on progress.

* Proactively manage stakeholder needs to align service delivery with organisational goals.

* Workstream Prioritisation & Planning: Oversee concurrent project and operational task planning, balancing resources to adapt to changing priorities, manage team capacity, and prevent bottlenecks.

* Service Desk Management ensure efficient service desk ticket logging, prioritization, and resolution aligned with business needs, focusing on backlog reduction and response time improvements.

* Facilitate project transitions to steady-state BAU operations by defining roles, responsibilities, and continuous service processes.

* Data-Driven Reporting performance tracking and reporting of KPIs, risks, and insights.

* Team Leadership: Mentor team members, promote collaboration and accountability.

* Drive operational process Improvements, collaborating with IT to integrate best practices.

* Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain current documentation across workstreams.
