My client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Drainage, Civil and Flood Risk Engineering, is searching for a Drainage Design Engineer to join an established team of Flood Risk and Drainage specialists based in Newcastle.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil or Environmental Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water and Foul Water Drainage Strategy and Plot Drainage Design using Causeway Flow, Microdrainage or Infodrainage.
It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally as you will be required to work from the office a few days a week.
This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of experienced Engineers to work on varied Flood Risk and Drainage Projects for Industrial, Commercial and Housing Development Projects for Private Sector Clients, Water Companies and Local Authorities.
Applicants will also be supported to complete the following;
-Flood Risk Assessments.
-Surface Water and Foul Water Drainage Strategy.
-Detailed Residential and Plot Drainage and Sewerage Design using AutoCAD, Infodrainage and Causeway Flow.
-Utility Design for Building Plots
