Impact Recruitment is seeking dedicated Electronics Technicians to join a leading global engineering, repair, and logistics company at their new site in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. The Role:

In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for testing, diagnosing, and repairing returned electronic devices using advanced automatic and manual test systems to ensure they meet required standards. You will play a crucial role in supporting the company's continued growth by ensuring high-quality output in an engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Test, diagnose and repair electronic devices to company specifications.

* Accurately record and repair details and track orders to support process improvement and cycle time reduction.

* Disassemble, reassemble and prepare devices for testing, as well as perform hardware reconfiguration where necessary.

* Provide constructive feedback to engineering and management teams on technical and quality issues.

* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and service delivery.

* Perform maintenance and calibration checks on test systems.

What We're Looking For:

* Extensive experience in testing, diagnosing and repairing electronic devices in a production or test environment.

* Knowledge of fault-finding techniques and experience with equipment such as oscilloscopes and multi-meters.

* Ability to read and interpret schematics, customer specifications, and rework instructions.

* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

* A self-motivated, team-oriented individual who can work with minimal supervision and take ownership of tasks.

* A recognised qualification in electronics engineering.

* Familiarity with IPC Standards.

Commutable from Kettering, Northampton, Corby, Bedford, Rushden, Milton Keynes and Peterborough.
