Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 DOE
Location: Glasgow
Shift: Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm & Friday 8am-3:30pm
My client, a Specialist Mechanical Door Engineering Company, is looking for a Desk Bound Estimator to join their office team. The main purpose of your role is to take sales enquiries / opportunities as they arise and progress them through to a quotation to be submitted to customers in accordance with the estimating rules and in line with pricing policies and targeted timeframes
The main responsibilities of the Desk Bound Estimator will include
Internal Team Communication
Capturing & Recording Engineer Commissions
Leading in Quotes & Orders Fast Turnarounds
Following up Quotes & Orders
Maximising Sales Opportunities
Obtaining Materials / Goods / Equipment Quotes
Attend Health & Safety Meetings
Support Marketing Campaigns & Digital Media
Support with Regional Admin (when required)
Out of Hours Rota
Customer Enquiries
Managing Customer Relations
Achieving Monthly Sales Target
Dealing with Customer Issues
Adhering to Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Ordering Goods / Equipment / Materials
Call Handling
Dealing with Customer Issues
Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS)
Adhering to Quality Management Systems (QMS)
