Exam Invigilator - Bristol (BS4)

Are you looking for a flexible and rewarding role in education? We are seeking Exam Invigilators to work in a mainstream secondary school in Bristol during their mock exams and formal examination periods. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who want to support students during one of the most important stages of their academic journey!

* £13.68 per hour

* Session Times - 9.00 am - 12.00pm / 30pm - 4.00pm

* School is based in Brislington, with excellent public transport links

* Full training is provided for this position

About the role

* Attending regular briefings by the Exams Officer

* Setting up examination rooms, and clearing away after the exam

* Welcoming students into the exam hall and ensuring a positive, organised atmosphere. Recording attendance on the examination seating plans

* Monitoring students during the examination period, ensuring there is no talking or disruption

* Ensuring candidates obey the regulations of an examination room as laid out in the JCQ examination guidelines

The right candidate

* Must hold an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate.

* Good numeracy and literacy skills

* Effective written and oral skills

* Previous experience of working in a school environment

* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
