Executive Assistant to the Headmaster

Location : Wimborne Minster

Salary: £45,000 per annum, plus excellent benefits package

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced EA to work with the incoming Headmaster of their highly successful and prestigious Boarding and Day School, based in 250 acres of beautiful parkland.

The Role

As the Executive Assistant you play a key and influential role within the school and the wider school community, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Board of Governors, staff, parents and pupils.

This is a full-time role, normally working an average of 40 hours per week, which will include Saturday mornings during term-time. Hours are variable with significant flexibility during school holiday periods, as agreed with the Headmaster.

The role can be very demanding but in return the school offers a truly exceptional, rewarding and happy working environment.

Skills and Qualifications

* First class administrative and organisational skills

* A professional approach

* Accuracy, efficiency and a thorough knowledge of MS Office applications are essential prerequisites for the role.

In addition, the successful candidate will:

* be a strong communicator

* have a good sense of humour

* be diplomatic, flexible and have the ability to remain calm and tactful under pressure
