EYFS Teaching Assistant (Temporary - Long-Term Sickness Cover) - Welwyn
Location: Welwyn
Contract: Initially 4 weeks, with potential for extension
Start Date: Immediate
We are seeking a passionate and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a lovely school in Welwyn on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a welcoming and inclusive team while covering long-term sickness leave. The position is initially for 4 weeks, with the potential to be extended.
The Role:
* Supporting the Early Years team in delivering creative and engaging learning activities.
* Assisting with the planning and preparation of lessons in line with EYFS principles.
* Working with individual children or small groups to promote learning and development.
* Ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for all children.
About You:
* Prior experience working in an EYFS setting is essential.
* A caring, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to working with young children.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff.
* A relevant childcare or education qualification is desirable but not essential.
