Family Solicitor
Location : Preston or Lancaster / Hybrid
Salary: £35,000 to £50,000 per annum
Our clients Family Department is expanding, and they are seeking to employ a full time Family Solicitor, from newly qualified up to 8 years PQE.
The Role
The successful candidate will have the option to work at either their Preston or Lancaster head office, together with working from home (hybrid).
You will handle a mixture of private family cases, including private children matters, divorce and financial remedy cases.
You will be familiar with dealing with drafting agreements including pre/post nuptial agreements.
Your client base will be nationwide due to the firm`s geographical reach.
Skills and Qualifications
* Be experienced working to Lexcel standards
* Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Have excellent attention to detail
* Be organised
* Be able to work as part of a team
* Have solid advocacy experience in the family courts
* Have fantastic communication skills and be able to explain the complexities of the law to lay clients with ease
* Have a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding your billing / time recording targets
* Provide a good reference from your employer
* Experience of TOLATA / Cohabitee cases (Desirable)
* Resolution membership (Desirable)
* Experience of international family law (Desirable)
* Law Society family / advanced family accredited (Desirable)
