Female Support Workers
Location : Ashford
Salary: £14.20 per hour (Time and a half on bank holidays)
Hours : 15 hours per week (A permanent 15-hour contract comprises 3 x 5-hour day shifts each week, including some weekend shifts). Overtime available.

The Role
Due to the client's brain injury and learning disabilities, she requires support with daily living, including arranging and accessing appointments, partaking in social activities and outings, menu planning and preparation and generally building skills to live as independently as possible in her own home.
The organisation is recruiting for female part-time support workers. You will join a new team providing support to a 57-year-old female with an acquired brain injury and learning disabilities who lives in her own home in the TN26 area of Kent. The Support Worker would work alongside live-in carers, providing daytime support directly to the client so that she can access the community and carry out her daily living activities.
The organisation does not directly employ support workers, but they recruit them on behalf of their clients. Their dedicated and experienced case managers are responsible for the day-to-day management of the support team. The organisation provides access to mandatory training and brain injury-specific training
Support Requirements:
* Hours of work will include a mix of weekdays, weekends and bank holidays
* Must be licenced to drive an automatic car
* Support includes assistance with personal care when requested by the client
* Up-to-date DBS at enhanced level required - the employer will pay if you need to apply for one
