Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and support cross-functional initiatives.
* Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
* Assist the Senior Financial Accountant with month-end and year-end close processes.
* Maintain the Fixed Assets Register within the asset management system.
* Provide necessary documentation and explanations to support internal and external audits.
* Collaborate with the business on new fixed asset additions, component additions, and disposals, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Support the accountant with GRIR reconciliations, ensuring timely monthly clearance. Update the monthly report and follow up on identified actions.
* Contribute to the preparation of Annual Statutory Accounts in accordance with FRS 102.
* Perform regular account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Identify discrepancies and collaborate with relevant departments to resolve issues.
Requirements:
* Studying towards a professional qualification ACA/ACCA/CIMA or similar.
* Experience of statutory accounts.
* Prior experience of working in a large finance department.
