They are now looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Graduate Rural Planner to join their dynamic team in Loughborough.

Role Overview:

As a Graduate Rural Planner, you will assist in delivering high-quality planning services to clients, ranging from rural estate owners to developers and landowners. Working closely with their experienced planning team, you will be involved in a variety of rural planning projects, including housing developments, agricultural enterprises, and renewable energy schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting in the preparation of planning applications and supporting documents.

- Undertaking research and analysis on rural planning policy and land use.

- Engaging with local authorities, landowners, and other stakeholders.

- Conducting site visits and contributing to project assessments.

- Providing advice on rural land use and planning regulations.

- Supporting senior planners in project management and client relations.

Requirements:

- A degree in Town and Country Planning, Rural Planning, or a related discipline.

- Strong understanding of UK planning law and policy, particularly in rural contexts.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- A proactive approach and a keen interest in rural land use and planning.

- Full UK driving licence (desirable).
