The Role:

The Graduate Rural Planner will support a variety of rural planning projects, ranging from agricultural and housing developments to renewable energy schemes. The successful candidate will assist with preparing and submitting planning applications, conducting research, and providing advice on rural land use and planning policy. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a graduate to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills within a supportive and knowledgeable team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications.

- Conducting research on planning policies and rural land use.

- Attending site visits and liaising with stakeholders, including local authorities and landowners.

- Supporting senior planners with project management and client interactions.

- Providing advice on relevant planning regulations and policies.

Requirements:

- A degree in Town and Country Planning, Rural Planning, or a related field.

- A good understanding of UK planning policy, particularly in rural contexts.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- A proactive and team-oriented approach.

- Full UK driving licence (preferred).
