Heath, Safety and Environment Manager | Cambridge | £55,000 DOE

A leading company in the engineering sector is seeking a dedicated professional to effectively manage the Health, Safety, Environment, and Facilities (HSEF) team at their Cambridge site. As Heath, Safety and Environment Manager, your responsibilities will include:

* Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environment, and facilities regulations

* Oversee ing site maintenance , statutory testing, and critical production breakdowns

* Liais ing with stakeholders and enforcement officers, and managing site cleaning and security

* Investiga ting serious injuries, implementing preventative measures and managing Legionella

* Provid ing expert advice , deliver HSE training, and conduct staff inductions

* Developing and implementing Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and Risk Assessments

* Updating HSE manuals, policies and business continuity plans

* Managing ESOS, SECR and waste packaging compliance

As Heath, Safety and Environment Manager , your skills and experience will include:

* A minimum of 5 years in an HSEF management role, preferably in manufacturing

* Experience with ISO 14001 standards

* NEBOSH Diploma /equivalent in Health and Safety

* Environmental qualification

* Auditing qualification

* Engineering apprenticeship or mechanical/electrical disciplines

* Strong time management and prioritisation skills
