Junior Geotechnical Engineer

Salary: £26,000 - £29,000
This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate geotechnical engineer to take the next step in their career amongst a team of geotechnical consultants. The successful engineer will be provided with specialist training on a variety of ground investigation projects, with the support of 7 other offices for stability and varied opportunities.

This Junior Geotechnical Engineer selected will be assisting with site walkovers, carrying out ground investigations and desk studies, taking soil samples, bore-hole logging, preparing phase plans, writing factual and interpretive reports, working on in situ testing and observing day-to-day tasks to develop geo-environmental & geotechnical knowledge.
The successful Junior Geotechnical Engineer must:
* Have some experience in Geotechnical /Geo-Environmental Engineering.
* Have a minimum of a BSc in geology, engineering geology, geography, geotechnical engineering, environmental science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
* Been keen to learn and develop geo-environmental and geotechnical skills.
* Be willing to work outdoors and travel for work.
* Hold a full UK driving licence.
* Commutable to Glasgow and surrounding area.
* Have a full right to work in the UK.
