About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic KS1 Primary School Teacher to join a vibrant school community in South East London. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in shaping the educational journey of children in Key Stage 1.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and fostering a love of learning within a supportive and collaborative environment. This role requires a committed professional who can bring creativity, patience, and passion to the classroom. An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.
Primary Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that meet the needs of the KS1 curriculum.
* Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that supports children's learning and development.
* Monitor and track pupil progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
* Encourage children's social, emotional, and academic growth through differentiated and inclusive teaching strategies.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.
* Uphold safeguarding and school policies to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils.
Requirements
* A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS or PGCE).
* Proven experience teaching in a KS1 setting, with a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
* A creative and adaptable teaching style to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and pupils.
