Academics is looking for a Newport based, enthusiastic and self-assured KS1 teacher. This KS1 teacher position will start in early October at a wonderful primary school in Newport. KS1 Teacher - Responsibilities
* Maintain discipline in the classroom
* Stay up to date with developments in the structure of the curriculum
* Organise the classroom before and after teaching
* Report any safeguarding concerns to the school's Safeguarding Lead
* Be prepared to take morning and last minute calls to work
KS1 Teacher - Required skills and qualifications
* An enhanced DBS check (essential) which is subscribed to the DBS Update Service (desirable)
* Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
* Two recent classroom based references
* QTS Status (PGCE, Bed)
