About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our dynamic team at a local primary school in Battle. The role is focused on supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), helping them thrive in both academic and social environments. You will work closely with teachers and other staff to provide tailored support that meets each child's unique needs.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting a specific child or small group, helping them to engage with the curriculum and develop confidence in their learning journey. Patience, creativity, and a passion for education are key, along with the ability to work well as part of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-on-one support for a pupil with additional needs

* Implement individual education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO

* Help the pupil access learning materials and develop social and communication skills

* Offer encouragement and positive reinforcement to foster independent learning

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a child's life while working in a supportive and community-focused environment.

If you have a passion for helping young learners succeed and enjoy working in a dynamic, supportive setting, we would love to hear from you.
