* Job Title: Band 6 Physiotherapist
* Location: Brighton and Hove - Inpatient A&E
* Duration: Ongoing contract
* Schedule: Full-time (part-time considered)
* Start Date: ASAP
* End Date: Ongoing
* Rate of Pay: £24-£26 per hour (depending on experience)
What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Band 6 Physiotherapist and play a key role in improving the lives of acute inpatients in A&E . In this role, you will:
* Perform comprehensive patient assessments for individuals presenting with a variety of acute conditions.
* Create and implement individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans to support patient recovery and early discharge.
* Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions including mobility assessments, respiratory care, and discharge planning.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists to provide holistic patient care.
* Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to service development within the department.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A current and valid HCPC registration .
* Experience working in acute inpatient settings, preferably within A&E or medical assessment units .
* Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills .
* The ability to work independently and within a fast-paced multidisciplinary team .
* A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care .
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers a flexible working position , requiring availability from Monday to Friday (weekend shifts available if preferred) . The contract is ongoing , with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
