Are you a Band 7 Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding locum role in North London? We have an exciting opportunity within an Acute Medicine setting offering excellent pay and flexible working options!
* Job Title: Occupational Therapist (Band 7) - Acute Medicine
* Location: North London
* Duration: 3-month contract (with potential for extension)
* Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time (part-time considered)
* Start Date: ASAP
* End Date: Rolling contract
* Rate of Pay: £28-£30 per hour (DOE)

What You'll Be Doing:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to step into a senior role within a dynamic Acute Medicine team. The successful candidate will:
* Provide specialist assessment and intervention for patients with acute medical conditions
* Manage a varied caseload, supporting timely and effective discharge planning
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure a holistic approach to patient care
* Implement rehabilitation programmes and functional assessments to support patient independence
* Supervise and mentor junior staff and contribute to service development initiatives
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, applicants should have:
* Current and valid HCPC registration
* Experience working within acute hospital settings, ideally in acute/general medicine
* Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and organisational skills
* The ability to work autonomously and within a fast-paced MDT environment
* A strong focus on safe discharge planning and patient-centered care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
The role offers full-time hours, Monday to Friday, but part-time applications are welcome. The contract is initially for 3 months, with high potential for extension based on service demand and performance.
