Locum Occupational Therapist (Band 6) - High Pay, Flexible Contract in North Manchester!
Are you a Band 6 Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding locum role in North Manchester? We have an exciting opportunity within a community stroke and neuro rehab team, offering excellent pay, flexibility, and the chance to make a real impact!
* Job Title: Occupational Therapist (Band 6)
* Location: North Manchester
* Duration: Ongoing contract
* Schedule: Full-time or part-time (flexible working available)
* Start Date: ASAP
* End Date: Ongoing (possibility of extension)
* Rate of Pay: £24-£26 per hour
What You'll Be Doing:
Join our supportive community stroke and neuro rehab team and help improve the quality of life for patients recovering from neurological conditions. In this role, you will:
* Perform comprehensive functional assessments
* Create and implement personalised rehabilitation plans
* Deliver evidence-based interventions in a community setting
* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (PTs, SLTs, nurses, etc.)
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Current and valid HCPC registration
* Experience working with stroke and/or neurorehabilitation patients
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
* Passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a flexible role offering full-time or part-time hours across Monday to Friday. The initial contract is ongoing, with a strong potential for extension based on service needs and performance.
