What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Band 7 Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of elderly patients on geriatric wards. In this role, you will:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments - Create and implement personalised care plans - Deliver evidence-based treatments to optimise patient outcomes - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care - Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current and valid GPhC registration - Experience working with elderly patients in a hospital setting - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team - A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a flexible locum position requiring availability for 3-4 days per week. The working hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. The role is ongoing with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
