Job Title: Manual Machinist
Location: Ealing
Salary: £37,000 pa
Hours: Monday to Friday DAYS ONLY
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist! In this role, you will operate various manual machines, including lathes and mills, to produce and repair precision parts. If you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy problem-solving, and have a passion for working with mechanical components, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
* Operate manual lathes and mills to produce precision parts.
* Perform Centre Lathe Turning.
* Use metrology equipment.
* Carry out thermal spraying and welding (training provided).
Key Skills:
* Strong problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent mechanical skills with great coordination.
* Attention to detail, accuracy, and a focus on safety.
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
* Effective written and verbal communication.
* Proficiency in Maths.
* Basic computer literacy.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Recognised apprenticeship or vocational training in machining or a related field.
* Experience with machine tools or mechanical assemblies.
* Familiarity with safety protocols in a workshop environment.
