Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Liverpool Street

Location: City of London

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - Split days (07:00-16:00 & 10:00-19:00)

Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our team in the heart of London’s bustling Liverpool Street area, working in a large and prestigious commercial office building.

This role requires a hard working Engineer with a background in mechanical maintenance, who can handle both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs efficiently. You’ll be responsible for maintaining mechanical plant equipment, such as pumps, filters and motors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct planned and reactive maintenance across a modern, high-tech office environment

- Ensure efficient operation of building services systems, with a primary focus on Fan Coil Units (FCUs)

- Replace and repair essential FCU components, including valves, actuators, and motors

- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all occupants

Requirements:

- City and Guilds mechanical qualification (or equivalent).

- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, ideally within commercial or office environments.

- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and general building services.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Good communication skills.
