We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Music Instructor to join our dynamic teaching team at an Outstanding-rated all-girls secondary school in Hornchurch. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture the next generation of musicians in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and high-quality music lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Plan, prepare, and implement creative and structured lesson plans that align with the national curriculum.
* Encourage student participation in school performances, competitions, and extracurricular music activities.
* Foster a love for music, ensuring all students have opportunities to develop their skills and confidence.
* Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
* Contribute to the school's positive learning environment and uphold its outstanding standards.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified or experienced in teaching music at secondary school level.
* Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 music curriculum.
* Passionate about music education with the ability to inspire students.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* A positive role model who promotes creativity, self-expression, and teamwork.
* Experience working in an educational setting, particularly within an all-girls school, is desirable but not essential.
